However, the business has changed and it will never be the same again. Period !!  We have entered the feast or famine era.   Notably, we are chasing less orders.  Notably,  florist to florist wire orders are way down.  Notably,  the dot com $39.95 'all in' orders are way up in volume. Notably, the internet is now a major player.

 

Do not expect to improve your situation by hoping for the best.  Todays business is a smaller pie than it used to be, and this is the new normal.  Don't expect it to improve with time.  -  It will not.

However, it is not all doom and gloom for those who seek help, and are willing to take the bull by the horns and 'be a business' instead of 'just doing the business', as so many florists are inclined to do

The retail florist can still be a great business to be in, both profitable and rewarding, but you have got to do it right !!
